Not a lot of reassuring feedback there fellas. I am starting fishing 2/14 if I have to do it with 1 arm. I seen a pro basser with no legs and 2 arm fishing, I should be able to di it recreationally. I can't see the Lake form the Camper I am at Southwinds but i cruised down to the boat ramps

9lb I'm not familiar with that spot. Is that the private campground between Rouark and Greenfield on the left?

I fell on the ice 12/7/13 tore rotator cuff completely off the bone and near complete separation of the biceps tendon. I was able to fish (with pain, but still able) before surgery on 12/27/13. I'm doing really well with rehab but won't be pushing it at all based on feedback from the medical professionals. I want to heal and heal right in the shortest time possible. I, thinking it will be at least March, maybe April before I even give it a whirl and then will still be very careful. Doc says I will feel pretty well back to normal by June but will continue to improve for a full 12 months. Be smart about this. Is one month earlier worth the risk? Not to me.

BTW, I was evaluated on Monday. Two of three movements are already in normal range, the other is about 85% normal and 60% normal is expected this far out from surgery. But still no strength and I know I'm still early in the healing process. So being really careful.

9lb, you be real careful too, and good luck with the shoulder and the fishing when you are able to get back to it.

Best to you man. Hang tough but be SMART!
