Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 16, 2014 Root Admin Posted January 16, 2014 Shot yesterday. The one thing you'll notice is how many time I mend the line. It's important that the float isn't dragging. If it does, your jig isn't down, it's riding up and moving faster than the current. Fish don't like that. Boat control is the other important thing, especially if it's windy. Keep the rod tip low- on the water. Don't let the wind take the line- you lose control.
perchjerker Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I know if the jig is bumping the bottom it is upstream from the float but if it isn't hitting the bottom is the jig downstream of the float? Are you wanting the jig bouncing off the bottom. Thanks Phil in advance, love watching your videos.
perchjerker Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 One more thing, something is missing, where is that fish lickin Lab at?
