Say what you will but Seattle didn't win that game the Refs won it for them. To bad.

Yeah the Seattle owner (I think it is still Paul Allen) should put those refs on his Christmas list. That missed fumble call on the goal line was the worst, even though it worked out for SF. The guy was laying there with the ball, no one near him, how the heck did they miss that?

Quill, I was watching the game and giving a friend who is a die-hard Seahawks fan a lot of grief and all through the game i told him your going to when the Ref's are letting the seahawks deffenders all kinds of mugging rights and giving bad calls in their favor. By the end of the third quarter even he was saying they had the refs on the payroll.

The Kicker call was wrong it was obviously by rule roughing the kicker not running into. The Fumble i replayed it many times and no less than three refs you can see clearly looking at it. Those are just to of the most blatent ones. No way could the 49ers beat Seattle at home and the Refs at the same time. I hoped for a good game said it here even but what i saw was the refs being the key factor in the outcome and that should never happen.

As much as I hate replay delays I really think calls should be reviewed on the sidlines for the rule and its correctness and that any turnover or possible turn over should be reviewed. time to take the refs out of the game if possible at least i nthe bad call area.

The fumble call was obviously terrible, but it's hard to blame San Frans loss on that when they got the ball back a couple plays later anyway. It could have had a huge impact on the game but in the end, didn't at all.

I'm sorry, but Richard Sherman's trash talking after the game does not put him in a good light. He's a good player for sure, but the doesn't give him an excuse to be a total jackwagon. I have to hope that Demaryius Thomas torches him in a couple weeks.

agree....sherman is an idiot......learn to be a gracious winner!!! the roughing the punter missed call was huge, the missed fumble recovery only supported the ineptness of the officials and that san fran had no chance!!! and I think there was another terrible call that went against them....... the real 12th man was wearing stripes.....and I didn't care who won!!!

I agree the refs were too much of a difference. Whether or not it would changed the game is impossible to say, but it sure didn't hurt Seattle. Seattle has been getting by all season with their defense and when you help them you give Seattle an edge.

I think the one thing that upset me was the announcers, especially in the AFC game, pointing out they would relax the interference calls. If that's true, and it seemed that it was, it just gives the refs room to make a difference. The players have no way of knowing how far they can go in stretching the rules so the refs can use they "judgement" to alter the game. Fans should demand an exclamation of the remarks and why they appeared to be true.

In the SB I have to go with Denver. Denver has the experienced QB, a very reliable defense that isn't that much different than Seattle's and a lot for offense then Wilson and company. Without the right ball bounces and the overlooks the Seahawks would be watching.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

You know the refs have done a good job when you don't even know they are there. Coming from someone who works in and around a lot of officiating that was horrendous. It will be interesting to see how the crew who works the superbowl calls the game.

Denver's receivers have gotten away with more illegal pick, rub route plays than anyone else I have ever seen before ( yes, I know every team does it) . The Welker pick on Talib was as blatant as it gets and Denver hasn't been called on it all year long.

Then you have Seattle's outstanding, defensive corps. They have gotten away with more mugging for a defensive secondary than any team in the league I think this year. Look at the Boldin touchdown. It wouldn't have made a difference on the play but you can't watch that and honestly say that it was not defensive holding, or illegal contact more than five yards down the field. It Should have been Pass Interference because the ball was already in the air.

I hope the seahawks win the game if only because I hate Denver. I respect the man for what he has done this year and in his career that doesn't stop me from having a blind, irrrational hate for the man and any team he has ever been associated with has absolutely killed the Chiefs, especially in the playoffs. I do hope Sherman gets TORCHED all game long though but Seattle still wins the game.

Yes it will be an interesting matchup. What concerns me more is Seattle's offence. They were just flat out inept in the 4th quarter. Their receivers can't get open (they really need Harvin back). I don't know what happened to Wilson's scrambling ability, but it seems to have vanished the last several games they've played. The offensive line leaks like a sieve. It will be interesting to see what the Vegas line is, but I have to believe Denver is favored.

Wait til later this week when the big bettors start making their choices. Everybody is swinging the line with a million small bets at the moment. If you do bet I'd wait for it to stabilize.

I wondered if that was a true pick given the fact the DB was behind the receiver?

I'm kind of anti-Seattle because of Carrol. When he got caught cheating at USC and then just walked away and let them suffer the consequences it was the only time I felt bad for the Trojans.

I'm not a bettor, mainly just interested to see what the line is. It will be interesting to see how this game is officiated, I expect it to be physical, especially the match up between Denver's receivers and the Hawks DB's. The refs are either going to clamp down right away, or let it slide. They're going to have to walk the fine line between keeping things under control or turning into a flag fest. Nobody wants a flag fest. My bet is a physical game.

Talib was beat so there was no need for it. He hunched over and hit the guy shoulder first. Either way it should have been offensive PI.
