Yep they do but nothing like the lakes that have threadfin. Those babies die by the 10s of 1000s when it gets cold.

They really can't stand hte temps below 40F and God knows we have had plenty of that. lol

ive got a friend on sons creek and he told me it happened during the ice we had right after the first of the year. he said the big schools broke into balls and theres alot of crappie and whites suspended under them but last time i talked to him last week he went out and only got 3 keeper crappie and they were full of shad.
