Flatbottom Boy Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Trying to get up to the Glaize monday. Im getting reports that the boat ramps around McCubbins are all locked up with ice. What about other areas? Anyone been out?
fishinwrench Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I "heard" that pb2 area was still clear a few days ago, but I doubt that it is now. Shawnee bend is usually among the last to get locked in, followed by Gale, but I haven't been by either lately. Bagnell tailwater may be the only game in town....but I'd rather go trout fishing somewhere than to spend a day fishing that dead ditch.
Flatbottom Boy Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Its kinda two part Wrench, I have to get the boat off the trailer to replace runners. Just drove by Riddle bridge and I think that will work. I was thinking the same thing about trout, if you wanna chase them with me on monday let me know.
Old plug Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 we got over a week of almost constant freezing weather in front of us. I think the entire lake is going to freeze and its going to pretty thick. will take it sometime ticker out after we get through this. i went to Camdenton yesterday and as far as you could see both ways on the bridges cross ing the lake it was ice at bith hurricane deck and the Niangua. the gravois was iced as far as Mill Creek. the rest will go very fast. in this cold.
