Members reddon30 Posted February 10, 2014 Members Posted February 10, 2014 I am planning a trip to Taneycomo for a 3 day stay with my wife and kids. There is a total of 6 of us and we are looking for a guide that can accomodate all of us. Does anyone have know of a guide that I could contact for this? Also, looking for some an affordable cabin to rent for us all. We won't be spending tons of time in the cabin, so trying to keep the cost around $100/per night. Thanks for your help!!
Members whatnext Posted February 10, 2014 Members Posted February 10, 2014 I'm not sure if Lilleys landing has anything for that many people for that price but is a fantastic place to stay and I believe they can set you up with a guide.
Leonard Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 couple of the fishing guides on Taneycomo right now with pontoons is... Phil Lilley..... you can also rent pontoons from Lilley's landing.. or Don House.. he also has a pontoon..http://www.bransonfishingguideservice.com/ http://www.taneycomonights.com
Dutch Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 You might try Steve Dickey. That is where he mostly guides.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 10, 2014 Root Admin Posted February 10, 2014 Several guides have big enough boats on Taney, they can handle a family of 5. You can call our office at 1-800-284-2196 and ask about rates for guides and our units.
Gatorjet Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Welcome to OA reddon30. Even if you have to adjust your budget up a bit for a room, you won't regret staying at Lilleys' Landing. Real men go propless!
hillbillyflyshack Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What he said plus the people there are the most helpful you will ever find period!
perchjerker Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Lilleys is a one stop shop for all you need. Your crew can also fish off the docks when not in the boat.See Curtis and he has any info or as with all the staff will point you in the right direction for a great stay & family fishing. Good Luck to your whole tribe.
Sac River Jim Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 i highly recommend you contact phil at lilley's landing resort. he is a class act and will treat you right among being one of the most knowledgble fisherman ive ever had the priveledge to know.
loo10 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Chuck Gries at Anglers & Archery in Branson is a terrific guide and maybe an even better person. I'd recommend you start with him.
