How much weight and why the James? I'm not fishing it but I am curious how it will go. I planned to fish it on the 29th. Actually scheduled a couple of days off to practice. But I won't go to Loz. Disappointed in the change.

Don't quote me on this but I think they already have 125 boats. From what I heard, today was totally impossible to catch a fish. I heard Beck had 3 squeekers and it was very tough for Pete and others. I'm going for a bit in the morning before my trout guide trip to see how horrible it is.

Donna and I have a team derby Saturday on Beaver. I went the other day. Fished 5 hours. Not a bite. Water was 42-43 then. I expect it will retreat back toward the high 30s by Saturday. Lord help us.

Thinking of tying on a couple of spoons and going after five 12-inch spots. Probably make a check with 'em.

I saw some dead shad flipping around in Indian Sunday - made for a tough bite for sure. Maybe they'll be more hungry this weekend - maybe not.

Champ, I would try to catch all the legal kentuckies that I could and see where you shake out. Probably do well. Good luck. The tougher tournaments are the easiest to win due to alot of the anglers beating themselves before the tournament starts. Its all between the ears.
