Just Had To Share A Word Of Wissdom

I have a friend who is looking for his first house ( bachelor ) he knows im a contractor and asked me for what my best advice is on a house. I have been working some very long hours and he got what he wasn't expecting.

So here it is; You have to have a house that is POP friendly!

He didn't understand what POP is. He is a Yankee so I forgave him and told him

POP = Pissing Off Porch Friendly!

That has been my rule for a long time and I haven't broken it in 30 years.

When I transferred to OR from Laclede county we were lost as far as where to look. We got a hold of a real estate agent agent and went from there. We were bringing horses and that made a big difference, but in central OR it wasn't hard to find a lot of places with some horse facilities, especially in fairly dense housing.

The agent showed us several places, but I just couldn't get excited about them and that frustrated her. She finally ask what the problem was and

I simply said I was thing of something a little more isolated. My wife piped up and said "He wants someplace where he can pee off the deck!". We bought the next place she took us too.
