Has anyone tried the long pole drifting method on Stockton, like they do on lakes further south from here.

they do that at Wappapello and Clearwater also. 6 to 8 rods out. I thought there was a law to how many rods a person could use?

They are good Mr. Rapp... 33 hooks unless on the big river then it bumps up to 50, more than 3 poles you must label them with your conservation number or name and address.

so all of them crappie rods on the front of their boats are labeled with their conservation number or name and address. ????

Sure they are! :have-a-nice-day: That law really makes no sense to me anyway if they are on a spider rig. I can see if someone has made a camp on 300 yards of beach with 33 rods out, but not rods that are contained within a rig like that. But it's probably easier to make a blanket law than to break it down. I dunno I just researched it after you asked the question.

Give Flatbottom Boy a cigar!! He nailed it dead on. Spider rigging works best for me on Stockton in May and early June and again in September to mid Oct.

so you got all them rods labeled with your conservation number? Another law that no body enforces.

I have them all labeled with name and address and phone number. I have also been checked twice by agents for compliance with that new law.. No tickets.
