this is one of my forever gripes. Thanks Billy Clinton...... Tax dollars paid for the rec areas, now we have to pay to use them.

And the money disappears into the Treasury, and is absorbed into that black hole of our federal debt. All to no effect.

cape fair marina would be a good place too. you can go down just below the west ramp and fish the long bluff and on into wooley creek. key on the chunk rock on the bluff and use an anchor or tie up to a tree. crappie fishing been pretty good there and ive even caught some nice spots throwing a crappie grub in there. champ has given you very good advice along with the others guys, hiring a guide is a very good idea and bill babler is topnotch in my opinion.

Being good at anything is usually hard. For me, at least, it is a lot harder when I don't know HOW to do it the right way.

When I wanted to learn how to plaster, I hired a Plasterer who did it every day. He made it look easy, but it ain't. I didn't get any better watching him but when I worked side by side with him my performance improved. Nothing is quite like OJT

A couple guide trips is the ticket.

Thanks guys. We added a trolling motor to the boat so that's handled.

Definitely would like to get with Bill someday. Still just playing around for now. Still thinking we might try kings area next time. Just trying to plan our routes ahead of time so we don't waste daylight looking for a ramp, preferably free ones. But I'm not against a COE pass if we need to get one.
