Quillback Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 You're right, Florida - yep going to be a tough one for the Flyers.
moguy1973 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Tennessee was denied a chance to beat Michigan tonight by a very questionable charge call with 9 seconds left in the game. Not sure why the refs don't let teams play when the game is on the line...It really turns me away from wanting to watch basketball when it seems like every play ends in some sort of foul. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
ozark trout fisher Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah, that was a bad call.....though it's hard to complain. Just seconds before, UT got the ball due to a terrible out of bounds call-it was clearly off Jerrone Maymon's hand but they ruled that Michigan touched last. So it was terrible officiating, but evenly terrible for both teams. Two great games right now between UVA/MSU and UK/UL. Gotta love this time of year. The games need to go quick because I need to go to bed soon though ( for one of the best possible reasons, planning to leave for the Current River in the early AM.)
Quillback Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah I was surprised by that call, but I also thought that it was a bad decision for the player to try and bull his way in through double coverage. He should have kicked it out to the perimeter guy once that double dropped down on him.
Quillback Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 On another point, SEC still has 2 teams left, but I can't bring myself to root for either KY or FL.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Is it going to be a one state final?? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I have to smile at the conference talk. If ever there was a college sport that has nothing to do with conference it's BB. There are so many teams from the shadows that it's hard to look past any one school. With a one loss and gone format it's a teams strength and ability to play their game and a little luck to get to the last team standing. If it had anything to do with a conference Dayton would have been gone long ago. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Quillback Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 2 teams from the "weak" SEC now in the final 4. I can't root for FL or KY however, so for now I'm a Wisconsin fan.
