I want to ask if anyone else is using a IPad on the forum. I am nit sure if it is .the IPad or my ISP.I have had a struggle almost from the start. It post things i did nit post and when I edit it other things show up. I also get all private Mgs on both. the forum and my E- mail. My wife has a 32" Apple with my addy on it and this thing with the MSg does not happen on there. We qlso have a brand new19" apple that I think I am going to start using.

This sounds like operator error to me :D

Try the 32-incher with a real keyboard

Part of it is Ness but there is other things. I am going to convert to the 16 incher we just bought. The 32 belongs to the church and although we do have some things on there I do not even like to touch it. that was a expensive computer for the church. My wife does all the videos and what not for the services. You do not even have to touch this thing just get to close and it will type correct and everything else.

I use my Ipad most of the time. It has it's quirks but I've gotten used to them. I turned OFF auto correct, that drove me nuts and I haven't had any issues with that part of it. As far as private messages showing up in your email also, you can go to your user control panel (up on the right side of the page where it has your user name) and deselect the email under notification options.

Idid that and it still corrects. or just randomly types things.

Al It could very well be a signal problem with my WIFI. I learned very recently something going on that causes problems locally. Nobody seem to know what it is. It seems to be worse on The IPad systems. It has fouled a IPad download a couple of times of my neighbors. Do not care anymore. We got a new Apple. I am going to start using that. My typing don't help either and The IPad makes it worse.

I use an IPad all the time, and have no problems.

Same here on my IPad Air and IOS 7.1.

I sure can't explain that behavior. iPad 'keyboards' take some getting used too, and the autocorrect is a pain a lot of the time. You might go into the accessibility settings and see if you can adjust something to make it work better for you. Or stick with the Mac.
