Fishrman Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Jay My father in law was up there yesterday, crappie fishing, said same thing, 50-51 and he was in same areas as you were.
Fishrman Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Thanks Fish. I know some others that had to work much harder at Baxter. Glad ya got on em. Well as I stated earlier, we did not catch them on every bank, and one thing I forgot to mention I fished the jerk slow, much slower than I like, but slow none the less. Let me say slow for me is counting to 7, so that may put it in perspective. If we got over half way back in large pocket, no bites at all, most came outer half to main creek side. Caught a lot with no wood around, big one however did come off of wood. One more thing, having Bryant run the boat and chauffeur me around made it easy for me, he is very knowledgeable.
fishingaddiction Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Thanks for the report Fish. Good to hear some fish caught on the jerk bait in the baxter area. I know the water temps are somewhat higher up the white, and most good reports are up lake. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
