So did Tebow and Leaf and.............

He will get his chance, but it's not the same game he is used to playing. Good luck to him, I hope he does well.

JF, Is no TrulyBad.

JF walks the walk and lets his play do the talking, He has the attitude and definately the swagger for NFL. If he can stay in the pocket he is dangerous out of it he is deadly and will beat you... BUT this is the next level and going out of pocket in the NFL can get you hurt and watching from the sidelines. I said it a long time ago that he reminded me of Montana and if he gets the maturity to go with his natural skill many will start saying it. Second BUT, He has to get with a good team that will take advantage of his skills and build around him to let them mature as well as get him with someone on the team that will help keep him humble. All those things happen and he will be a great QB. TB i always said was all hype no game and comparing the two is like comparing a Mustard Sead to a Watermelon ready on the vine.

This other article talks about that very thing-about how pro teams want a quarterback to come with some swag and be a leader.

Your right about the running quarterbacks. They look great for a few years and then the hits take their toll and they go downhill. Same with guys that sit in the pocket and don’t get rid of the ball quick enough and get hit over and over like Bradford with the Rams. After enough hits and sacks they get happy feet in the pocket and passes start going all over.

Be interesting to see how he turns out.
