Hi All,

I know there are a few on here (no names, you know who you are) who claim there are no fish in Aunts Creek, but our annual trip is this week, Tuesday through Sunday, so was hoping to get some input on where "not" to fish. ;) We don't mind going a few miles in either direction from Aunts Creek, but was thinking more along the lines of types of banks to focus on, depth to keep boat in when fishing toward the bank, main lake points versus secondary points, etc.

Thanks!

PS... Danger (Mike) is one awesome guy... Will (hopefully) provide pics of what we catch with some of the goodies he sent me! Thanks again, Mike!!!

No fish in Aunts Creek. I hear the area over by Shell Knob is hot right now and a very pretty boat ride.

Hey there, buddy. Hope you all have a very good trip this year. You guys always catch them. Our group get together is not for another 4 weeks.

You get to share the lake with the BASS Elites April 3 - 6. The talk is that it may be more power fishing right now, crankbaits, jerkbaits, jigs and maybe spinnerbaits. As always the grub bite will also work.

I'm sure others will chime in with the latest info. Good luck. Let me know how you do. Wish I could be there with you guys. Going to LOZ tomorrow for 3 days. Later.

BASS always means a lot of wrapped boats going up the James, at least when I have been there at the same time. Might be a good time to trailer a bit.

Hey T... a couple years ago we moved our trip up from early May to early April due to some family commitments and decided to just keep it at this time every year, at least for a while. As for the BASS guys, we'll just have to do our best to share the lake and hopefully they leave us a fish or three. Good luck at LOZ and when your group makes down to Table Rock!

Sorry brother. Haven't fished much in last five years but point ten is always good. Even closer is the cove across from the ramp at Aunt's Creek , South to Railroad Cove is good. North to Jackson Hollow is also usually a good place to try. In general anywhere you see a bank go from rock to sand (transition banks) and then start at 18-20 feet and move out from there should generate at least Kentuckies or better. There is a little island before Jackson Hollow that you should be able to pick a few up on depending on wind direction and if the dam is pulling.

Best of luck to you.
