Did you work over the mats of floating crud? That's where I found bites on Sunday. Some were as shallow as 10" but most were in 2-3' in the muddy soup, right on the edges of those thick mats of sticks, leaves, and sawdust. I ran down to clearer water for awhile, but the bites were better for me up in the mud so I came back up. Saw a few guys shootin'docks in that mud and I'm betting they had a slow day of it. Ya never know til ya try though I guess.
Members mo4packer Posted April 8, 2014 Members Posted April 8, 2014 Wrench, I didn't go but I am debating on fishing the dirty water or heading up to tail waters of Truman. I was on a good bite before the rain but I think I need the clear water. Either way going fishing is a win in my book.
moodyfour Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 We did not. We fished a few areas that a friend had caught fish earlier, then made our way towards clearer water.
