Haven't seen much here about walleye lately. Shouldn't they be spawning? Anyone catching any? If so, where and with what? Went to Fellow Lake yesterday looking for walleye and didn't get a bite. The fishingnotes report says the spawn is in full swing there. I think they're all on the dam in the rip-rap, and the dam at Fellows is off limits.

This time last year they were from one end of the lake to the other, biting a little bit of everything. We caught them on jerkbaits, hula grubs, and swimming a grub.

I would think they're mostly done spawning, but that's just a S.W.A.G.

I've only fished Stockton on one 6 day trip, but I really, really like it and my understanding is that the bite was OFF when I was there.

Caught two last Sunday on main lake points, fast fishing a jerkbait. One was a nice 27 inch pig. Too bad I was fishing a bass tourney.

Was there a rule for the tourney that you couldn't have a walleye on board?

Thats a heck of a walleye man! Especially for stockton, ive never caught one over 18 there. Id be doing backflips if I pulled one in that big...unless i were fishing a bass tournament...sorry to hear that. Hopefully you found a nice sack (or sac for stockton lol) of green fish!

No rule about having the walleye on board. But it didn't help upgrade my limit of bass lol. It was a beautiful fish though.
