Hojo Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I have a 2012 Ranger Z518. How do I get the water to come out of my bilge holes to fill my weigh-in bag instead of getting underneath the boat every time?
bfishn Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Remove the little plug from the lower center of the transom before launching. Just kidding. Don't do that. Seriously though, how can someone intelligent enough to earn the kind of living it takes to buy a new Ranger ask such a question,,, in public no less...? Still kidding. Seriously. I can't dance like I used to.
Ham Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 My Bass Cat will pump out the live well water in a huge fountain. Not as good as fresh lake water, but better than bilge water. IF your Ranger has a "pump out" feature, I'd use that. Assuming of course that this is a serious inquiry and not an inside joke that I'm stumbling thru. Carry on. blue79 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Find a fitting and a hose that will plug into the livewell water inlet.Plug it in,put the hose in the bag,and turn the livewell on and fill the bag.
