96 CHAMP Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 went to friends at indian creek over the weekend, saturday there were people everywhere and i pretty much let them have the lake, it clouded over later in the day and went out on a search and find mission, found what i was looking for and went back out sunday in the rain and had the lake to myself and had a great day using a small spinner and dunking minnows, the bigger females came out of water in the 16-18 foot range but suspended about 5-6' deep, got home about 8 pm, tired, but it was worth it will be back for a 3 day weekend this week, good luck fishing everyone, sorry no pics

Old plug Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 were you in indian or the little indian branch off. it usually has its share if crappie fishermen but for some reason people have been packing the upper gravois.
Old plug Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Well of your coming back this weekend it should be pretty good. where I live on the gravois we suffered the blunt of that cold wind I was down on my dock a bit ago and caught 2 small crappie right from they were in before the storm and cold. I do not think they were greatly effected. and by Friday afternoon things should be back to normal. I will be in the area mostly just above and below Indian Creek in the afternoons Thursday Friday and Monday or anytime there is a warm rain going on.
96 CHAMP Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 I will be in the area, friday through sunday, indian creek and up the gravois toward the dam, i will be in a blue and white dual console champion, if you happen to see me come on over and introduce yourself, it is allways nice to make new friends, GOOD FISHIN!!
