I was down at Swan Creek yesterday from 6 till dark. I saw 3 boats and a kayak fishing on the bluff by the bridge and it looked like they were just killing the whites. I'm pretty sure one boat had a huge stringer of whites. I may be wrong though because I wasn't close enough to see them and I didn't talk to them any. I caught a few by the bridge a few days ago and released them. I'm sure there are some around to be caught somewhere between the mouth of Swan on up to the first riffle somewhere. Or up towards the dam.

I have only had one trip where we both limited. I got tired of spending all the $$$ for gas so I have quit going. This year looks a lot like 2003 to me.

Caught 1 nice sow right off the bat kept going picked up a short walleye and another sow. trolled from the first bend to about as far up as we could get the boat. Water temp around 62. Went up to swan water was 51 until swan and i think i saw 64 at one point. only caught one nice white on a rooster tail and then headed back to beaver and caught a couple small males. not near as many people as you normally see this time of year. I was kinda wondering if they know somthing i dont

There are no white bass in Bull Shoals. aarchdale caught the last of the live ones and the rest died in the cold winter. Go to Table Rock and fish there they have plenty.

I haven't been out this year due to some problems, but the hotspot on Beaver is generally at the Kissee Mills camp on 160. I don't think the water level would hurt a lot unless it's over the old dam base.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Went out last week caught 3 whites 16, 17, 18" all in the same hole and then nothing. Was down and across from Cedar Creek in 6-8 foot of water.

I wonder how the new lake levels have changed the fishing in the Bull Shoals tributaries. I know the minimum flow has changed the White River below the dam A LOT, and I don't like it at all.

Really? Apparently the trout were just barely getting by for preceding 60 years. Not sure how it became so popular or produced a world record?
