Daryk Campbell Sr
First time fishing Table Rock. We were fishing out of Big Cedar Lodge's cove. Tried green/pumpkin lizards, and wiggle wart along with a chunky spinner with a crawl trailer. I got some followers, but no commitment. I got my only fish, a large mouth with a rattle trap blue/purple with a red front. The bass was caught at 11:50 am. Many fish were swimming, lots of crappie, tried a few micro spinners, no takers. Used grubs with yellow tails and reddish brown bodies, along with white grubs. Going to Taneycomo tomorrow. Maybe I can double my success rate :-) Can't blame it on the weather. ... Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
Members DerekB
If you're going to Taneycomo, try a split shot rig using night crawlers. Get a worm blower and blow that night crawler up with air, that'll keep him off the bottom. You may heavier than you think with the split shot if they're running water due to the current. Good luck!
