Members PDR Posted April 28, 2014 Members Posted April 28, 2014 Nice surprise for an after work jaunt up the river. This guy was in about 12 feet of water and fell for a ghost white x-rap. Big fun on 12# test. She seemed to be a loner, havent found them in this spot this early in years past, water temp is usually around 70 when they appear. Great fun nonetheless and a bakers dozen crappie to go with.
J-Doc Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Cool report! Nice striper too! Man, that would make a lot of gumbo, blackend striper, fried striper, etc!! Man I'm going to have to thaw out some and cook now. Lol Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

marcusearlt Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Dang man, thats one heck of a fish! We actually don't see a lot of pictures of stripers from Beaver on here. Thanks for sharing. "If people don't occasionally walk away from you shaking their heads, you're doing something wrong." John Gierach
