Members Lewisstull Posted May 1, 2014 Members Posted May 1, 2014 Has it happened yet or pushed back by all the crazy weather? The ones I caught b4 this cold snap were all males. Like the females haven't hit the banks yet. Females I did catch we're in deeper water.
balsabee Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Same here...very few females shallow as of last weekend.
jerry241 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Same here caught a few last weekend off the bank all males.. Fished from eagle rock up to kings and believe it or not caught most right at eagle rock... I think all this weather has them confused
Members Lewisstull Posted May 2, 2014 Author Members Posted May 2, 2014 I think that it is gonna be on this week with the warm weather. Last 2 or 3 days then be done.

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Ges. I Was in those exact spots and only got 1 keeper crappie. Don't feel bad. It was just tough day
Biglerma Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I think a decent amount of fish have already spawned out. When I was there 2nd weekend of April we absolutely smashed em on the banks (two 2 man limits 2 days in a row). Males and females were all in 3 ft of water or less and the eggs were runny when we cleaned them. I fish the shell knob/kings river side of the lake so things might be diff down on your end. My Aunt/Uncle/Cousins went out Easter weekend and caught a fair amount on the banks but it was winding down they said.
Members Hubcap Hunter Posted May 5, 2014 Members Posted May 5, 2014 Caught 5 keepers and 20 shorts at Bridgeport Saturday. Mostly males. Females still had eggs
