Indian Point Afternoon.....as Good As It Gets

Whack a cast, doubles, followers. A bare hook probably would have got it done today. Put in at 2:30, fish on by 2:35.

We didn't go sight fishing although I did notice some beds. We stayed in front of the pockets and had the best luck where there was some sort of transition. Gravel to ledgy stuff was the best, but it was all pretty good. Docks close by didn't hurt although we didn't target them specifically.

Split shot with Fish Dr. size baits out fished the senko size stuff. Fluke worked and would have tore it up if I really hammered the pockets. I pitched a lizard to a bit of wood and scored a decent black. Colors were typical stuff....watermelon with your choice of glitter, green pumpkin, white fluke.

I fished stuff with the wind on it and never went to the other side to see if there was any difference. Too hard to leave fish to go mess around.

If you want to take a kid fishing and catch a bunch with a decent shot of keepers GO NOW!
