1969Larson Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Plenty of stripers and walleye in the tailwaters today... http://youtu.be/OjpPz_YWZhM
Feathers and Fins Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Shhhhhh your going to give the TR Bass anglers fits. I love right at the end seeing two trout blow past doing Mach 3. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I think bass anglers don't care, unless they want to go up there and try and catch them. AGFC is a different story.
Members Craig Posted May 19, 2014 Members Posted May 19, 2014 Imo they look like white bass. We were catching them down at spider creek last week. I was up from their today didn't see any trout fishing. Thanks for the video was interesting.
bfishn Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Cool! That stretch can really pack 'em in at times. Like when it's up in the trees on the north bank with one unit running. Skinny enough water it pays to be sneaky. I can't dance like I used to.
Bill Anderson Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Suggestion: If you really want to shoot something through water surface glare, get an inexpensive polarizing filter for your camera and you won't believe what a difference it will make for your photos or video. I have a friend, a Jewish carpenter, whom you should get to know. If you do, your life will never be the same.
Members crkoester Posted June 3, 2014 Members Posted June 3, 2014 Those are clearly stripers, not whites. Trout killers. Get em out of there, please.
chi0082 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Very cool video. Is this the "fly fishing only" zone below Beaver dam?
1969Larson Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Well, it is the "special regulation" zone below Beaver Dam. Not necessarily fly fishing only though. Barbless hooks. Treble hooks are allowed, but they must be barbless. Artificials only - no live bait.
