Note too self move into a bigger house

Give up on the bigger house idea. You won't be able to buy one now that you are spending all your money on fly fishing equipment.

And be careful in the parking lot. When I was learning to cast the biggest space I had was between the neighbors house and mine. I was trying to cast to the street. The first time I made it to the street my line went all the way across and a car ran over it. That can't be good. Luckily I hadn't spent the money on a quality line yet.

Welcome to the wonderful world of fly fishing! I agree with everything that's been said so far. Especially staying out of the fly shops. But go ahead and give that idea up. I think there's a big magnet in the shops that attract you to them regardless. Sorry I missed you on NYD but hope to meet up on the river and swap some stories. I've only been flyfishing for 4 years now and haven't picked up another type of rod since. I have truly found my new love and I'm sure you're on your way there also.
