eyedabassman Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Is there a better night bite now vs. the day bite? I love to night fish but have not had a chance to get out! I have been reading the posts and how the bass fishing is so slow now. I would think the night would be a bit better but you guys know better than me,I am new to the area!
merc1997 Bo Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 night time is the right time for clear water lakes. bo
merc1997 Bo Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 If I could stay awake, I'd be night fishing.you need to start taking a nap, and then you will be ready to do some after dark fishing. bo
Pour Dennis Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I quit night fishing when I almost hit a ski boat.
johnboy2bfishin Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Nite bite has been ok but not lights out. Has been slow for me. Going out tonight about dark to avoid traffic. Most all my fish have came in 20-30 on plastics.
Quillback Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 you need to start taking a nap, and then you will be ready to do some after dark fishing. bo I take a nap, and I'm still ready for bed by 9 PM.
Hazbin Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I take a nap, and I'm still ready for bed by 9 PM.Anybody who is at the Big M ramp at 05:30 waiting for the fog to lift and traveled an hour and a half to get there, would have to change their geometrics around. With such a confused spawn, all heck is going to break loose in July, most likely in the feeder creeks!Sure wish I could be there, but spondalosis of the neck has me side-lined.
Quillback Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Yep, I can't stay up late, but I can wake up at 0300 to go fishing. 47 miles to the ramp, a little less than an hour. Hopefully, you'll get that spondalosis whipped soon and get back out there.
eyedabassman Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 Any tips would help. I was thinking big worms,FB jigs, I am down by Blue Eye so Long creek better on this side of the rock?
