Members Small water crappie Posted July 8, 2014 Members Posted July 8, 2014 Hey everyone, I am new in here and I am from Elkins Ar. I usually fish small lakes because all I have is a 14' john boat. I am going to venture at War Eagle this weekend if anyone knows of a place for walleye or crappie there let me know. I usually vertical jig on structure. It took me a long time to break my dependency on live bait but I finally did. Lake Sequoyah is booming for crappie right now three hours prior to dusk in the mouth of the river on firecracker plastic jigs. My 4 year old bagged 4 last night with a beetle spin, bobby garland patriot swimming jig and zebco 33.
