Guest big c Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 We are looking to buy a place at the lake. We like the imdian point area and the village condos. We get down there mainly spring and fall to bass fish. What are your opinions on that area for the fishing? Looked at different areas and want to be kind of in a central area to go either way on the lake fishing. Thanks in advance for your input. Chris
rps Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I do not know real estate or condos. I do know these things. Indian Point is very popular and convenient to many of the attractions (that would make resale easier). Boat traffic in that area is very intense. The fishing, if you can avoid boat traffic and tournaments, in that area can be very good.
Guest big c Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Great, thanks for the info! Looking forward to getting there more often and hopefully meeting the guys on this site. Thanks again and good fishing.

ColdWaterFshr Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Paul Dallas used to be a regular lounge lizard at the ole Rock Lane Lodge Resort piano bar. Rooms were overpriced, the view always blocked by trees, the steaks were rubber, the hostess was surly, the concierge was from Nebraska . . . .and the Coors Banquet beer was always warm, and the women were always cold . . . ice cold. Except for the waitresses. mmm, the waitresses. And sweet Loretta . . . . she was . . . wore them 7's on her sleeve. Get a place near there. It had a vibe.
