Looking to purchase the 1985 trout stamp and printed picture of the stamp. If anyone knows where to locate the set, or would be willing to sell the set, please contact me by personal message. Thanks in advance for any info.

I think I was the artist who did the 1985...but I'm sure I don't have but my own one personal copy left.

Wrench, nice to see the 1987 one on top of the others you have, since that one's mine, too :)

Yeah Al, that's my favorite of all the MO trout stamps I've ever had.

At one time I had 4-5 more on a different rod tube, but that one got swallowed by the twister.

It had a Kennedy Fischer 5wt. in it but I miss the stamps more than the rod.

I had an idea that you might be Al. I have seen your drawings at the dining room at msp, and also at the home of one of your high school buddies. Thanks for the info guys. I am sure they were done in limited quantities, but am not giving up on finding a set.

After further investigation, it appears that a Dennis Goldacker drew the 1985 stamp. It shows Al with 84 and I think 87.

Yeah, you're right...it's been so long ago that I forgot which one I did. It was the second one in which there was a contest. Charlie Schwartz did the very first one in 1982 since he was working for MDC, then Terry Martin won the first contest in 1983 (I didn't enter that one :) ). I won the 1984 and couldn't enter again for three years, then won the 1987, which was supposed to show some of the history of the trout program somehow. I never entered again.

I used to hunt with Dennis. I will see if I can get in contact with him. Haven't heard from him in years.
