Members oldasdirt Posted August 4, 2014 Members Posted August 4, 2014 Yes that's the east fork does flow threw the johnson shut in park. I miss spoke even though I have fish a lot of the area my snake encounter was on the west fork. Sorry about that. West fork is in the centerville area.
jdmidwest Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I think this was a black ratsnake. It was a bit different though compared to all other black ratsnakes I have seen. Looks like a blue racer. But the cobra pose is a lot like a black rat chicken snake. Hard to tell from the pic. If his belly was barred or patterned, I would say black rat. But if it was all the same color as the neck exposed, I would say blue racer or whatever the scientific name is for them.
