WeekendWarrior Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 There were lots of fish and bait suspended from the top down to the tcline. Where in the heck is Pt. 19 in the Lindley. I don't remember anything greater than 15 and the water is only 10-12' deep there. Thinking same thing, must be point 9

Members lost at pomme Posted August 29, 2014 Members Posted August 29, 2014 Seeing some people jug fishing flats above 83 up to island. Most were in 8 to 15 ft water.
Dutch Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Those markings on that map are not the point markers used by the COE on the lake. That 19 is about Pt 6. There was a 30 thermo there yesterday.
MOPanfisher Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 You are correct, the sampling point PT19 is not a point/mile marker, it is a sampling point, 19 just happened to be the number assigned to it. The sample location for PT19 is above the Nemo Bridge, in the channell where the power line crosses.
Members pomm muskie Posted August 30, 2014 Members Posted August 30, 2014 from the dam down too wheatland area it was around 30ft a lot of bait from 10 to 20ft...... didn't set any lines because of the brutal heat last week and thinking the oxygen level for hooked fish may not be to good.... did catch some crappie busting small fry on top in our cove in the evening.....
Members mlhenderson Posted September 8, 2014 Author Members Posted September 8, 2014 The oxygen data from the water quality sample appeared spot on in the Lightfoot area. I had my anchored Jugs in 18 to 20 ft of water and caught 6 nice channel cats about 8 ft down.
