Quillback Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 After about a week of rain prediction that did not happen, finally getting some this AM. Need it, things were getting dry.
rps Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 The early front came through hard here about 5:20 am. rain, wind, lost power. I went back to bed rather than go out. Weaker now but still not done.
Quillback Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Some pretty intense wind here also around 5 AM. Fortunately the power stayed on.
rps Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 HI loses power very frequently. Very frequently.
J-Doc Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I was going to take the girls out for my daughters second ever fishing trip. Now, with colder air temps, windy, and a cold front with south wind, I bet the whites won't even bite. I know where they are, it's just difficult to get them fired up. Even with a spoon. I've got about 7-8 live brooders left over from Saturday, I hope they might bite on those too. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
J-Doc Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I agree, we needed the rain. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Wayne SW/MO Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 It sounded like it rained here pretty hard for a shart period and wind preceded it, but since it has been off and on. We need all we can get, the trees are dropping leaves, a sure sign of drought. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Feathers and Fins Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Yes it rained on Beaver and sucked, we need it but it could of held off till tonight. BTW there are a few less geese on the lake now https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
