Guest Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Didn't take long for this thread to go down the "you said" rat hole. Yeah man, I'm pretty much done with it all.
Guest Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I called the neighbor & had a civilized conversation about the situation. He said they were supposed to be gone last week. He agreed that they can't live down there & needs to find another place. He even apologized for the inconvenience & they will be gone in a couple of days. That should put an end to the never ending thread. This is my final post about it all. Y'all have a great weekend.
Chief Grey Bear Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 You have no clue who I prayed for but you assumed it wasn't for them. That's twisting it to fit your agenda. They can live with you, just post your address. You left no reason to assume you prayed for their well being. I'm sure if you had the concern and compassion that you are now trying to make us believe you have for these folks, you or your church would have offered temporary assistance. There is another thread floating around here talking about patriotism in this country. I don't think we have lost our patriotism in this country but, we sure have lost looking out for one another. I'm not saying you take them in and support them but, like wrench pointed towards, what the matter with making little more for supper and sharing? Maybe giving them some hygiene products? And again like wrench said, maybe hire them for the day to do yard work. The quicker they get on their feet again, the quicker they are gone.
