There's a random little pond on Ingram Mill just off Battlefield near a subdivision, anyone ever tried it?

I have wondered about that place. I don't know if there are signs or not.

Don't overlook the access points on the James and the Finley.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

But that's not the same as a pond. Fun but not the same.

Unfortunately the leaders of Springfield would like to confine all fishing activities to the few areas that are open. There are some beautiful ponds around town with some nice fish but the vast majority are closed to fishing.

If you are quiet and go around midnight you can have a lot of fun.

That's what I've heard anyway. :)

I agree, the city doesn't do much in terms of providing decent access points. It just makes pond hopping that much more exciting though...

A person could stand on the side walk off Ingram Mill, and cast their line out. They would be on public property and not private property. ;)

I like your thinking!
