Members Prestone Posted September 19, 2014 Members Posted September 19, 2014 There's a random little pond on Ingram Mill just off Battlefield near a subdivision, anyone ever tried it? I have wondered about that place. I don't know if there are signs or not.
Wayne SW/MO Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Don't overlook the access points on the James and the Finley. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Flysmallie Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Don't overlook the access points on the James and the Finley. But that's not the same as a pond. Fun but not the same. Unfortunately the leaders of Springfield would like to confine all fishing activities to the few areas that are open. There are some beautiful ponds around town with some nice fish but the vast majority are closed to fishing. Â Â

It just makes pond hopping that much more exciting though... "Fishing is much more than fish. Members Prestone Posted November 7, 2014 Members Posted November 7, 2014 A person could stand on the side walk off Ingram Mill, and cast their line out. They would be on public property and not private property.

Jim Elam Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Second the golf course comment... Jim "The obsessions of others are opaque to the unobsessed, and thus easy to mock...If we are lucky we all have at least one."
