How Far Do You Usually Run From The Ramp Where You Launched?

I try to stay within a couple of miles; smaller boat and motor.

1st season on Beaver. Starting at Hwy 12 ramp, upstream to Horseshoe Bend, downstream to Rocky Branch. Never had the need to go farther but will probably take a ride to the dam when the colors start to pop

Short run PC to rocky branch. Long run to dam from PC. Only fished one day down around PC this year. Yes a lot of gas.

I launch Indian creek and run to the back of it and sometimes to point 3. But that is the normal fishing range. So 2-3 miles from ramp is usually it. But when I'm trolling my GPS says I've gone up to around 15 miles some days.

Launching at PC area I will run to the dam or as far upriver as I need to. I do go to Rocky branch by trailer though and on occasion Monte Ne.

I tend to put in all over from Hickory or even 412 area sometimes to LBS and I will not usually run from any one point more than 2 - 3 miles most of the time. My boat does not get great gas mileage.
