woodman Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Challenger XL.......16 foot long and 31'' wide..... Well It has nearly reached the end of this build: http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r302/scrawford_photos/
fishinwrench Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Beautiful! Gotta say it though.... That plastic seat kills the aesthetics.
woodman Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 Yep,I know, may be ugly, but comfortable and I'm not the only one....This challenger was designed by a guy in Texas.....Function before looks..... http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r302/scrawford_photos/
cnr Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 That is one ugly seat. I think with your wood skills you could produce the same thing in a nice wood and add the upholstery, or maybe a nice webbing, or cane. Consider yourself challenged!
stinger160 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Muffin looks like he wants to get on the water! I like the boat especially the adjustable seat.
mic Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 How stable are those designs? They sure look like they will cut some water though.
woodman Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 They are really stable...... Brazos Boat Works Project Boat: Challenger http://www.texaskayakfisherman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=156329 http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r302/scrawford_photos/
