3 Chronarch's For Sale

Recommended Posts

I have 3 Chronarch Bantam 101A's that I'd like to sell. They've been very lightly used over the years and impeccably maintained, with virtually no wear on them. I've had them upgraded to Carbontex drag washers and Abec7 bearings. They are 10 out of 10 mechanically, and 9 out of 10 cosmetically. I'll take $130 each including shipping to your door.

Tnx

How 'bout golf sticks, Edwin? Selling any of those? :secret-laugh:

Heck yeah, Champ...got lots of those too. That said, the sticks get used lots more than the fishing gear. Looking for anything in particular? I just might have it ;) I used to donate my old stuff to the high school kids but sheesh, seems like everyone of them these days has custom clubs.

I'm pretty well set on golf sticks, Edwin. Just put a new TaylorMade SLDR driver in the bag this year. Love it. I know what you mean about giving away clubs to the schools. I've been passing mine along to buddies who I know will play them. Can't stand to see them just sit in the garage. Would rather give them away and see them get some use. That said, I did hold onto my old TaylorMade R9 driver. Just couldn't let it go, although I did give away the newer R11.

Wait, this is a fishing forum isn't it? :o

I've hit the SLDR a couple times...great stick. I really do think the lower spin rate would help me. Maybe I'll use my rod / reel proceeds to fund a new driver :)

My only rule of giving away golf clubs - if I give em to someone, I want em gone enough that I don't ever see it again. I go out of my way to take care of my stuff and it's a kick in the groin to see em thrashed by someone. I once gave a buddy a fairly new set of Callaway X-22 irons. The second time he played with them, I watched him pull a 6 iron from the bag, hit the ball thin and into a lake. Out of anger, he helicoptered the club down the cart path...almost made me sick, hence the not seeing em again rule.

Back to fishing :)

Yes, would certainly not set well with me watching a club I had cared well for (and like you, I do) become a helicopter rotor, especially down a cart path. Might not say anything to him but would sure stick in my craw.

Yes, craw. As in crawfish. The kind fish eat. Now we're back to fishing.
