Quillback Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Just saw this in the AGFC Outdoor news, stocked in August, something different that the usual rainbow stocking. White River, Baxter, Izard and Marion Counties, 79,132 fingerling brown trout White River, Baxter County, 8,864 Catchable Cutthroat Trout White River, Baxter, Marion and Izard Counties, 69,206 fingerling cutthroat trout
Ham Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I talked with the former AGFC Trout Specialist and his opinion was that dumping the cutties in the White was marginally better than dumping them in the parking lot. I love catching them and have caught a few decent ones, but they in general do poorly. I love me some Brookies, but mostly they are expensive Brown trout food. The White River is fishing great. Lots of Fat and Happy Rainbows. Lots and Lots. And lots. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
