Told my wife I was thinking about taking my 18/60 Jon Boat down to Lead Mine, running it up and down through there. If everything goes ok put a Gigging Rail on it. She says your going to do nothing but tear it up.

Then my Son comes over, I told him what I had in mind. He says No it is too Big. Just use your 12 Foot Jon it is stable, I have seen Mom try to turn it over and never has. He says your wanting to get a Jet Drive, go down to NRO, get your Buddies down there to take you for a ride in their Jet, you will either be too scared to ever ride one again or Love it.

My wife is saying I just want a New Boat. Dear would I ever do that?

I agree with your son. I'm afraid you'll get that 1860 hung and won't be able to get it off by yourself.

Can you get a truck & trailer turned around down at the little place below Leadmine ? I'd like to explore that stretch this Fall but was afraid if I pulled the trailer back in there I might not get turned around without tearing something up.

I was thinking the Boat Ramp.

He says I can't get it through the riffle, plus just not enough room on the river turning around.

The 12 Foot is wide and I think my wife has actually tried to turn it over. It can haul a load had me and my Grandson in it.

If your talking about below the riffle on down, might have to back down to the river, it's pretty straight shot.
