Flysmallie
You are very welcome Mr. Ducky. I would also like to thank Michael. I knew how to tie a zonker, but Michael's pattern is the best looking one that I have seen. He took the time to show us his technique while his lunch sat there and got cold. I would have kicked us out and ate my lunch!! By the way Michael, how is that case of the gout going???
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 11, 2007 Root Admin Share Posted January 11, 2007 You're very much welcome. Thanks for being such a gentleman. I appreciate how you treat your wife and son... you're a good husband and father- much to be proud of.
Terry Beeson
THAT'S why Michael was eating lunch at 2pm, Monday... He told me I just missed you guys. I came by for a bit of BS and tying materials... Mostly the BS... It's a lot cheaper... Ducky, I've found in the six years that I have been fly fishing (wow... almost 7 now) that it is very much a "pay it forward" bunch of guys that fly fish. More so than "conventional" fishermen, even though there is some in that group as well. What I have learned from others, I pass it on to someone I hope will someday pass on to someone else, etc., etc., etc... OAF is a real testiment to that for sure... I will tell you that the fly fishing crowd is a lot more helpful and friendly than any bass fishing crowd that I have been around. I'm glad that I have made the change and I'm very appreciative of all of you guys. I guess I'll have to buy Michael lunch sometime soon.

Micheal Kyle
I have the solved the Gout problem, I think it's all in my head(LOL) No problem and thank you all for being patient on Monday, I will be happy to sit down with anybody for any amount of time and teach techniques and or give you my thoughts on fly fishing. Because that is what it is about educating people because we all had to start somewhere. So thanks for allowing me the opportunity to help. If you want to stop by and get in all the B.S. sessions feel free to they happen everyday, especially around lunch that's when my NOON DAY LUNCH CROWD comes in. It happens everyday. Somedays I need to issue knee high rubber boots.(LOL) Michael To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
