Members Scott Keling Posted October 18, 2014 Members Posted October 18, 2014 I dressed 12 whites Thursday & 14 Friday from Smithville lake. Some of the females had eggs in them and they looked like they look in the whites I dress in the spring at BS. Haven't seen that before. Just wondering if they spawn in the fall when the water temp is right?
Roger Craig Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Would that apply to flatheads? Caught one about 10-12 lbs last week, when I cleaned it I swore I saw an eggsack?
fishinwrench Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Applys to all. As soon as fish dump their eggs they start developing more. Just like chickens, humans, crocodiles, ect. Chalk one up for evolution.
