Kayser Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Keep it under 10 mph at the most, and watch the direction. I've run it in higher, but I hugged the bank to where I was fishing. Deep v boats are strongly advised here, and I would not recommend a 14' Jon boat- I've seen too many swamped on that lake while fishing from the levee. Big winds aren't a joke on this lake. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
jpb2187 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Depends on the boat? I think I'm heading up to Thomas Hill Saturday morning to catch some hybrids. But will probably be a busy weekend. Sounds fun, I think i'm gonna head to Coffeen. It's a little bit of a shorter drive for me. Keep it under 10 mph at the most, and watch the direction. Thanks for the info.
