Members ARangler Posted October 28, 2014 Members Posted October 28, 2014 Started at about 3:30 way up long creek hitting transition banks caught 4 fish all large mouth, 1 on a pigsticker snowden jig, 1 that was about 4 pounds on a war eagle 1/2 ounce spinnerbait, and 2 on a 1.5 sexy shad squarebill, then headed up closer to dark by the 86 bridge fishing a chunk rock bank that the wind was blowing on and I caught 3 spots, 2 of them bieng keepers, and my buddy was throwing the squarebill and caught a good 3lb class largemouth and as we where aproaching a point he hooked a 6 or 7 pound large mouth that broke his line at the boat as we where trying to get him in the boat, seems like ones like that only bite when u are using light line and forget your net. After that happend we headed back into persimon hollow fishing some banks with the wart and a bandit 300 in a basic shad pattern and my buddy pulled up his personal best smallmouth that was around 4 pounds. After that we fished around and ran some more banks and not one more fish so we called it a day. And also a question, how do you post pictures in here from a mobile device like a iPhone 5?
Sore Thumbs Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Nice report. At the bottom of the page you can go to full version instead of mobile. It will say more reply options. Select that and you should be able to post pics.
Champ188 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I knew when I walked out of the house Monday morning and nearly got knocked down by the wind that it was gonna be a fishing day and not a work day. Unfortunately, my stack of bills said otherwise. Great day and a nice report. That's fall fishing at its best.
