joeD Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 It sucked. For three fishermen. For four days (one fisherman fished for three days, two fishermen fished for two). Over 20 miles covered. Covered with countless casts of every type of lure over every inch of water. Makes three years in a row. Just wait til next year.
Smalliebigs Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 hahahahaha.......I think I would not go back??? I fished the Meramec below Onondaga to a friends farm and it sucked to.....my wife and daughter we in the mix and we had some fun watching Eagles the whole way other than that I drank the shiot out of some rum.
Guest Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Theyre in transition right now, moving to the deep wintering pools. It makes fishign tough. If you can find a pool with fish, stay there. I have a buddy that fishes a particular hole every year in late Novemeber, he always catches a 20"+ smallie there. I still cant get him to tell me where its located. Better luck next time.
hoglaw Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 That sucks and it seems like you guys normally hammer them. Seems like my late fall or early spring trips are always hit and miss. I've had some great ones fishing a Sammy or a big jig. But my favorite lure in the colder water trips has always been the new wiggle wart. Too scared to throw the old ones out of a canoe in moving water.
