Dylan Cluver Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I have a small row boat, with rear mount trolling motor, and I have always been wanting to catch a striper. my question is do you have to travel very far to find them? very far from launch ramps that is. No one gripes about obese fish.
J.M. Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 There are times you can find them in PC in front of the ramp and I have found them in the summer I find them very near LBS good luck .
Feathers and Fins Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Dylan I will be honest with you. I wouldn't put anything small on the lake except in Nov to January and at that its still a risk. Wakeboats are out later than ever this year and a small row boat could prove harmful. That said if they do get in the back of Prairie Creek or Avoca it would be safer, I have though on a few occasions but my boat between a Kayak or Canoe because of some of the idiots out there who just don't care and think its funny swamping a small boat or just are to stupid from their dads lack of attention to the belt being used to know better. If you do I suggest early in the morning and off by 11am... Yes you could do it but use caution. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
