BATCAB27 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Mizzou had better wear their big boy pants, cause Arkansas is on a roll.they sure are, they've won 2 in a row! oh wait, Mizzou's won 5 in a row....
Al Agnew Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah, after beating Ol' Miss and LSU, Arkie has some credibility. But...first it was Kentucky that was supposed to be trending upward and Mizzou beat them. Then it was ATM, who was supposed to have a hot qb and was favored by the oddsmakers and Mizzou beat them. Then it was Tennessee who was supposed to be a hot team, again favored by the oddsmakers, and Mizzou beat them. It's pretty much guaranteed that Arkie will be favored, too. We shall see.
Justin Spencer Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I fear a Georgia repeat, the piggies are playing some tuff D. Hope I am wrong. Feathers and Fins Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Kentucky and Tennessee are both weak teams the odds makers like them sure but the teams have both been less than good on almost all Saturday's I didn't buy in to the hype the media was trying to create. But looking back at Arkansas and the strength of opponents all season and taking it in to consideration they could be a top 10 team maybe top 5 if it was based on strength of opponents. Rankings at time of playing Auburn #1 ATM #6 Bama #2 Georgia #10 Miss St #1 LSU #16 Ole Miss #8 Mizz #20 That is more than a little tough Rankings as of today Playoff rankings. Auburn #15 ATM Bama #2 Georgia #8 Miss st #4 LSU Ole Miss #17 Mizz #28 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Anyone seen a line on this game? I'd think since they are at Mizzou, that Mizzou will be favored. Hogs did not run the ball well early in the game with Ole Miss, Ole Miss D line played well and it appears Mizzou's D line is very capable. If the Hogs have to get it done through the air, well that's a scary thought. Hogs D has obviously been playing well. Could be a low scoring game, along the lines of 10-7 or 17-10.
Al Agnew Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Could be, but nothing about this season has been predictable. It wouldn't surprise me to have a game on the order of 31-24 either way. Also wouldn't surprise me to have a lot more lopsided score one way or the other. It's going to be an interesting game, to say the least.
Quillback Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Turnovers are always a factor that can turn what could be a close game, into a blow out either way. Hard to predict them.
Blazerman Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 From STLToday There is no early line on Mizzou-Arkansas, possibly because Razorbacks quarterback Brandon Allen left Saturday's win over Ole Miss with what was described as a soft tissue injury of his hip, according to media reports.
ozark trout fisher Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I hope Arkansas is at full strength on Friday. If they are without their QB it would take some juice out of what should be a really good game. I know both defenses are good, but I bet we get a little more offense than everyone is expecting on Saturday. I'm not sure either team will be able to stop the other's running game consistently. I'll predict a 27-24 Missouri victory. But it could just as easily be flipped. This really feels like a game that is going to be decided by either a mistake or a great play deep in the fourth quarter. I plan to be there cheering Mizzou on. Hope we can get a sellout.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 they sure are, they've won 2 in a row! oh wait, Mizzou's won 5 in a row.... If they aren't impressed by 2 back to back shut outs of respectable teams, they should be. I'm just saying Mizzou had better look at this as a "big" game. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
