If they aren't impressed by 2 back to back shut outs of respectable teams, they should be. I'm just saying Mizzou had better look at this as a "big" game.

This Mizzou team is not taking anyone for granted. I am not saying we win, but they will be ready. If this was any team not named Mizzou our defense would be making national headlines. Several different TN players and coaches stated it was the best they had seen all year. It is legit. Offense is trending toward average.

Should be a great game on Friday.

Ole Miss had the best defense in the SEC, they gave up 30 points (actually 24)

Either way, Arkansas is red hot late in the season.

I'm very surprised that we are favored yet unranked.

Looking forward to watching Arkansas 1st trip to Columbia, MO.

they sure are, they've won 2 in a row! oh wait, Mizzou's won 5 in a row....

Yep, Arkie is a slight early favorite. Not surprised...they may be the best 6 win team in the country based upon who they played and how close they played them. I saw somewhere that nobody in the whole ESPN bunch is picking Mizzou, either.

Just still too many questions about the Mizzou offense and special teams. If the offense can finally clean up the penalties and the 0-line can give Mauk some time to throw...and the play calling is semi-intelligent...Mizzou should be able to score a few points. If Baggett kicks well and the special teams players learn the difference between the front of a player and the back of a player, Mizzou should be better than Arkie on special teams. And if the defense plays as good and consistently as they have been, Arkie won't score much. But...Mizzou just hasn't shown they can put a complete game together yet.

thats not trash talk, I've got alot better trash talk than that! This game will probably come down to turnovers, as most football games do.

I don't think any Mizzou fan (or certainly players/coaches) will be taking this game for granted. We've seen what Arkansas can do. We've also seen that Missouri can beat quality teams as well, so both teams have really proven themselves in the past few weeks. Everyone is talking about how Arkansas is playing their best ball of the year, and it's true, but so is Missouri. Those A&M and UT wins were legit, as were Arkansas' victories over LSU/Ole Miss.

I do think Missouri is capable of winning if they play well (and get a few breaks), and maybe even should win on their home field and with so much on the line.

But I don't know anyone who doesn't expect this one to go deep into the 4th quarter at least.

Both special teams are sub par, thats a wash

The offenses are polar opposite in styles, yet Arkansas scores more points per game (thats a head scratcher)

Both defenses are pretty solid.

Both teams have momentum, but I dont like the fact that Arkansas is favored. I would rather be the underdog at this point. It just motivates Mizzou to come out with a lot of energy.

Arkansas is banged up: Qb, both TE's, & were short a RB who's suspended.

Whats the Mizzou depth chart looking like & whats their turnover margin?

I don't think there's much of anything to report about our depth chart. One of our bottom of the depth chart wide receivers (Lawrence Lee) just left the program for whatever reason, but I'm not even sure he's caught a pass this year.

The offenses are polar opposite in styles, yet Arkansas scores more points per game (thats a head scratcher) A good or feared running attack opens up a pass game often at unexpected time which leads to a more openings in D-lines. Arkansas has taken advantage of this early this season but lately teams are learning how to shut down the run. If Arkansas can find a way to re-open it up this Friday Mizzou is in big trouble.

Both defenses are pretty solid. Slight edge to Arkansas, Mizz is not being covered as well and I think that is in part to last year and how great they were, where this year they are missing something.

I disagree I don't think AR is as banged up as you may think and even if BA is AA is by far a better QB so I am not worried about that position. TE's might be a ruse to just how hurt they are don't buy it. Our RB is interesting I have even heard rumors he may be off the team but we still have two very good runners and if Austin is in a 3rd that no one except those of us who watched him in High school really understand.

It could be a High Scoring affair if the D-lines don't show up 42 / 35 Arkansas but if the D-lines show up a very low scoring game 17 / 12 Arkansas. I just feel Arkansas wins as there is a lot of pressure on Missouri.
