Wind is supposed to blow N/NW around 15 mph today. I'd put the wind at my back and throw spinnerbaits and crank baits up shallow. But that's just me.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thinking about going to the kings or big m area. Even kicked around going to bull and k dock just looking for some shallower fish.

Run up Long Creek if you are fishing the dam area. Not a very far run by boat. The fish are shallow up there for most of the year.

as far as shallow bass in the dam area with the wind blowing, i just am not for sure that is going to happen yet. the reason that i say that is if the bite is still 15ft. deep at night with the wind howling, i could not think they would come up shallower during the day. i think that you might find some shallower bites up the kings or long creek.

No fish in the Kings. Huge fish kill. They're all dead. Every last one. I swear. :XD:

Found some today in the dam area this afternoon in timber in 10 ft to 15 ft caught 7 bang bang then my fishing buddies had to hit the road to St. Louis. 2 keepers end up a beautiful day.
