Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 9, 2014 Root Admin Posted December 9, 2014 Can't help but post these pics. Good friends of mine farm outside of Altamont, KS. Mom killed this buck first of November - crossbow. Her son Nate killed this one last week - rifle I believe.
Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Awesome DEER! It always good to get the ladies involved. I'm debating on hunting Kansas next season & noticed the crossbow was used. That's my problem, I need to use a crossbow due to a shoulder injury. Do you have to get a waiver in Kansas? Thanks
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 9, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted December 9, 2014 I don't know... I used to hunt around Parsons years ago but can't find time to get back. You'd have to research Kansas code unless someone else knows the rules.

ollie Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 There are some big bucks in Kansas! I have relatives south of Wichita and they always see big bucks on their land. Kansas grows them big! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
